FestiFlirt: a cardboard swipe panel as a festival activation

For Festiflirt, we created a striking, interactive cardboard activation: a swipe panel that brings the familiar “swipe feeling” of dating apps to the festival grounds. Visitors can do more than just look—they can truly take part: swipe for real and connect with each other in a light-hearted way. A playful, social translation of digital dating into a face-to-face experience.

Idea and goal

Festiflirt was looking for a way to engage festival-goers with the brand in an original, low-threshold way. That’s why we didn’t opt for a standard display, but for a large panel that invites interaction. Instead of swiping left or right only on your phone, you now do it physically (“left” or “right”). This creates a cheerful game moment that brings people and the brand together.

Custom-made in look and use

  1. Design
    The panel is designed as a life-size dating profile. Think of a recognizable layout with space for photos, visuals, or elements that instantly evoke the festival vibe.

  2. Interaction
    The panel is fully operable, so visitors can use it as intended. That creates spontaneous fun and shareable moments (also ideal for social content).

  3. Practical on site
    Because it’s made of cardboard, it remains sturdy and easy to handle: lightweight, easy to move, and suitable for events with lots of logistics.

  4. Fully in Festiflirt style
    Everything is aligned with Festiflirt’s brand identity: from colors and typography to icons and tone of voice.

A sustainable choice with maximum experience

This project shows that a campaign can be both eye-catching and responsible. We avoid heavy or plastic materials: cardboard is lightweight, highly recyclable, and perfect for temporary activations with big impact. After the festival, the panel can simply go into the recycling stream, small footprint, big effect.
