Evolution of the Holbox logo

The Holbox frog, which frequently appears in our visual expressions, has been an integral part of the corporate identity for years. The origin of our frog goes back to the year 1970, a time when we were looking for a logo that would be synonymous with an active, sustainable and colourful way of working. And so the idea arose to use a frog as a logo. Versatile, agile and green, just like the company. 

But time has not stood still and Holbox has grown into an innovative and creative display producer with a strong international character. And the Holbox frog? We still find him by our side and he is more than ever a symbol of the ins and outs of our family business. The frog is undergoing a transformation: from frogspawn to tadpole to a beautiful adult frog. Exactly the way a display travels: from the first sketch to a mock-up to the tangible and colourful product. And the pace at which the frog evolves is well comparable to the speed of our efficient production process.

Today, our frog has a modern look in origami-style, perfectly matching the way the sustainable developments at Holbox are unfolding. From product to production process, everything is viewed from a green vision. Just as green as the colour of our frog.
