Holbox helps with large-scale action for Ukraine
In cooperation with several partners, a large-scale relief operation has been set up for Ukraine. Several trucks with relief supplies have arrived in Gliwice from the Netherlands, including toilet paper, diapers, food and water.
Acting together
All these items are unloaded, sorted and distributed in the Holbox factory in Gliwice. From here everything goes to aid agencies in the region and in Ukraine. For example, the local fire department takes the goods and drives them towards Ukraine. Other items are distributed nearby where families have taken in refugees.
Meanwhile, Poland has taken in nearly 2 million refugees, mostly in private homes, parish homes and pilgrim homes. These people have fled with nothing more than a small bag or suitcase, so can really use all the help they can get. In the Netherlands not only private persons have helped. Also several companies have sponsored whole pallets of products.
