Official ISO 14001 certificate
Just another certificate? No, ISO 14001 is certainly not that. With this certificate, Holbox shows what we have known for a long time: we are a company that cares about the environment and sustainability, now and in the future.
Sustainable recognition
Of course, not everyone gets such an internationally recognized stamp. Melanie van Bracht is the owner of SHE* Mel safety and environmental support and has gained a wealth of experience with multinational companies. She assisted Holbox in its journey toward certification. "ISO 14001 is an initiative to reduce environmental damage by companies and shows that you are trying to minimize your footprint.
Of course, certified companies comply with applicable laws and regulations but it is primarily a management system that includes a stakeholder analysis and risk analysis. A process that requires continuous development on the road to sustainability. Holbox has already made great strides in the area of sustainability, ISO 14001 is next."
In November were the two audit days, conducted by TÜV Nederland. During these days Holbox was put to the test. Interviews were held in all departments to get clear what sustainability means for that particular department.
After the audit days followed the deliberation and finally the redeeming word! You have obtained the ISO 14001 certification!
On December 15th 2021 we received the official certificate! Proud of our Holbox family, together we made sure we are now ISO 14001 certified!
