World premiere in sustainability
As the first display producer in the world, Holbox offers its customers the possibility to add a Sustainability ID to displays. This one-of-a-kind addition enables customers and consumers to request a unique material passport per display within seconds, by scanning the integrated QR code with the smartphone or tablet.
Convenient and transparent!
This passport not only presents which recycled and certified types of paper or cardboard the display in question consists of, but also with which environmentally friendly inks or lacquers the material has been printed and in which waste bin the promotional product belongs after the end of its life cycle.
For example, if you scan the Sustainability ID of the Lays tree display with your smartphone, you will find out that the product is made from FSC®/PEFC cardboard, printed with water-based inks and should be disposed of with the waste paper after the end of its life cycle. Because the Holbox displays contain no other materials than paper or cardboard, we want to make the display as transparent as possible in order to make the route to recycling - and thus a second life - as short as possible.
